What's the difference between Solo and Couple mode?
Solo mode is free and personal: task management, frequency scheduling, reminders, history and a home-screen widget, all for one person. Couple mode (FairLoad Pro) adds a real-time shared household: the FairScore dashboard, a live partner activity feed, and gentle nudges so two people can keep the load balanced together.
How do I invite my partner or join a household?
In Couple mode, open the app and share your household invite link. Your partner taps the link on their phone and is taken straight into your shared household. Both of you then see the same tasks, completions and FairScore in real time.
How is the FairScore calculated?
FairLoad doesn't just count chores. It weighs each task by its real effort: physical, emotional and mental load. The FairScore combines those weighted contributions across your household over the week, so a fair split reflects the work that's actually being carried, including the invisible planning and remembering.
Does FairLoad work offline?
Yes. FairLoad is offline-first, so your data lives on your device and the app works without a connection. When you're back online (and signed in), your household syncs automatically.
How do reminders and notifications work?
FairLoad uses on-device notifications for task reminders, recurring schedules and partner nudges. You'll be asked for notification permission the first time; you can change it anytime in the app's settings or your device's system settings.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open FairLoad, go to Settings (or the upgrade screen) and choose Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you purchased with, FairLoad Pro will be restored.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by the app store, so you cancel there: on iPhone via Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and on Android via the Google Play Store → Subscriptions. Your FairLoad Pro features stay active until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and associated personal data. You can read exactly what we store, and why, in our Privacy Policy.
Is my household data private?
Yes. FairLoad contains no ads and no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your household content is visible only to the partner(s) you choose to share a household with. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
